Kaput Mole Gel Bait is a low-risk bait that may be used to control eastern moles, starnose moles, hairy-tailed moles, coast moles, broad-footed moles, and townsend moles on grassy areas such as lawns, turf, and golf courses. The bait is formulated with warfarin- a highly effective anticoagulant with very low environmental and secondary toxicity. Because warfarin is effective against rodents at low concentrations, it is one of the active ingredients in rodenticides. However, in cases of accidental ingestion by children or pets, Vitamin K1 is a readily available antidote, unlike worm-like baits.
Kaput Mole Gel Bait is available in a three ounce syringe, with the appropriate half ounce doses pre-marked on the syringe plunger for easy application. Moles readily accept the bait as a food source because it mimics the worms and grubs that they naturally consume. The bait may be injected directly into the tunnels, and once the gel has been placed, the moles cannot eject it from the burrow (which may happen with work-like baits).
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION*:
• Determine layout of active burrow systems and locate main runways.
• Twist dosing ring to set proper dosage.
• Inject ½ oz bait per placement into tunnel, making up to 6 placements per burrow system.
• Reapply bait every 2-3 days until mole activity ceases.
* NOT FOR SALE OR USE IN MAINE OR NORTH CAROLINA.
